The Coordinator will be focused on brand positioning and driving long term growth while working with sales teams to drive consistency in execution to meet the needs of Eagle Rock Distributing Company (ERDC) and our Suppliers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work as part of the marketing team to effectively execute marketing strategies for the ERDC portfolio while working within a specified budget. Specific priorities and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Special Event/ POS CoordinationGoal: To organize ER event from start to finish Special Event coordination and execution from retail to the actual event Negotiating sponsorships in coordination with the Director of Mktg/Brand Team Manage and direct activations, hand sells, and sampling for special events Drive brand growth by positioning ERDC products effectively Manage the delivery of equipment to accounts Forecast product for events 8 weeks in advance Assure payment is received at the completion of the event Fully recap each event and provide a summary Responsible for account management for teams' sponsorships and venues. Maintain/Manage all special event equipment to ERDC standards Develop positive relationships with local promoters, internal sales team, and internal ops team to stay informed of local trends, company direction and community needs, as well as to negotiate favorable terms for sponsored activities Communicate Special Event objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales/ops team, and provide instructions for use or promotion. Actively support the Company's mission and vision philosophy. Attends all required Company meetings. Assisting other channels of the Company during slow season Off season from Event Duties: Monday- Friday ScheduleSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. ?College experience is desirable but not mandatory. Candidate will be responsible for representing the company at all times in a professional manner. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet Eagle Rock's minimum driver requirements. Strong knowledge of product characteristics Ability to distinguish between brands through taste testing/sampling Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel and PowerpointABOUT YOU Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work Ability to problem solve independently in a fast-paced environment Competitive, self-motivates and customer service orientated Communicate effectively with various channels of the Company and supervisors Demonstrate responsibility and dependability on the job Committed to working safely and maintain a fun and friendly work environment You're dedicated living out Eagle Rock's values of Family, Loyalty, Community and Teamwork.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop to move cases of beer. Must be able to check code dates accurately, talk and hear to communicate with retailers and co-workers. May require sitting or standing for extended periods. Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 100 lbs. Must be capable of pushing or pulling loaded carts (weighing approximately 300 lbs)Environmental Conditions & Temperament Job duties are performed inside and outside warehouses and event locations. Exposure to outside weather, walk-in cooler temperatures, riding in semi-truck, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels. Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.Thorough product and package knowledge is essential. A safe driving record is also required. Previous beverage experience is preferred.Compensation, Benefits and Application WindowCompensation range: $50,000 to $60,000 per year(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)This position is eligible for the following benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Basic AD&D Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Spousal Life Insurance, Child Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401(k) with company match.The Company provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
