Description Title: Manager, Promotions & PartnershipsDepartment: MarketingSalary Grade: Full Time, ExemptSalary Range: $70k - $75k Statement of the Job: Lead the Promotions & Partnerships Team in developing, executing, and evaluating promotions, marketing partnerships, reception programs, community activations, and community relationships across Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and The Ford seasons.Essential Functions: Concert Marketing & Activations: Manage comprehensive promotion and partnership initiatives for LA Phil venues, concerts and initiatives, including pre- and post-concert receptions at Walt Disney Concert Hall and promotional activities at Hollywood Bowl and The Ford.Integrated Promotion Campaigns: Execute strategic promotion and partnership initiatives supporting season announcements, subscriptions, festivals, special projects and individual concert promotion.Budget Management: Oversee multiple budgets related to paid promotion campaigns, receptions, activations and promotional materials.Partnership Development: Negotiate and implement agreements with media outlets, promotional partners, and community organizations to maximize marketing reach and impact.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor team including a part-time assistant, full-time coordinator, and part-time events coordinator, providing strategic direction, professional development opportunities, and collaborative oversight to ensure seamless execution of all promotional activities, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives across LA Phil venues.Community Engagement: Plan and execute off-site promotional activations, managing all aspects from budget, planning and logistics coordination to day-of execution, branded materials procurement, and volunteer management.Media Promotion: Foster relationships with promo teams at LA radio stations including KCRW, KCSN, KPFK, and KXLU - as well as other LA media as appropriate.Program-Driven Partnership Development: Gain comprehensive knowledge about artists and concert programming, including repertoire, artistic themes, and cultural contexts, to identify appropriate target audiences and community partnerships.Sales Strategy: Partner with the Analytics & Audience Development team to create targeted discount programs and special offers that drive partner engagement and ticket sales.Performance Analysis & Reporting: Establish key performance metrics to evaluate partnership strategies and tactics, conducting regular analysis to identify successful initiatives, areas for improvement, and optimization opportunities. Provide comprehensive reporting on partnership efforts, audience engagement outcomes, and strategic recommendations to enhance future programming support.Corporate Partnership Collaboration: Work with Corporate Partnerships team to support on-site activations and extend opportunities for partners.Relationships: Creative Services, Digital, Direct Marketing, Advertising, Learning, LA Phil Affiliates, Sodexo, Music Center Scheduling, Social Media, Venue Box Office and Parking Teams, Venue Operations, Walt Disney Concert Hall Guest Services, AnalyticsReports To: Senior Director, Marketing & PartnershipsMinimum Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years promotional or marketing experience in the Greater Los Angeles area, preferably with cultural institutions, entertainment venues, or arts organizationsBachelor's degree required or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years promotional or marketing experience in the Greater Los Angeles areaKnowledge of LA's diverse cultural landscape and community networks preferredBackground in audience development and hospitality event planning a plusExperience working with Los Angeles media outlets, community organizations, or cultural institutions preferredStrong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to engage diverse audiencesCapable of working as a member of a team as well as independentlyPassion for music and understanding of classical music programming preferredBilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) a plus given LA's demographicsAvailability to work nights and weekendsValid driver's license and reliable transportation for venue travel across LA CountyFlexibility to work across multiple venue locations and community eventsThe Los Angeles Philharmonic Association will consider for employment qualified Applicants with Criminal Histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the FCIHO.
