Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Jr. AV Support Technician (Conference Center) on a 10-year contract supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The team will support the design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of IT services across multiple networks and locations worldwide.

The right candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications and be prepared to handle responsibilities independently and professionally:

  1. Serve as a Conference Center Audio Visual Liaison for all events.
  2. Coordinate and plan customer requirements for conference center events, address AV/IT questions, and provide situational awareness on maintenance and technology refresh efforts.
  3. Provide live event support and maintain IT and AV equipment such as digital signage, monitors, laptops, and recording devices.
  4. Operate and manage presentation, sound, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
  5. Develop SOPs for conference center equipment use.
  6. Escalate issues to Tier 3 when necessary and support workstation, VoIP, and VTC services.
  7. Resolve AV/IT incidents, collaborate with engineering teams, and provide user training and documentation.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI poly.

Degree and Experience: Associates Degree or equivalent, with 3+ years relevant experience.

Desired Certifications: A+ Certification, N+ Certification, Security+ or similar DoD 8570.01M certifications (preferred but not required).

Required Skills: Knowledge of AV equipment (AMX, Crestron, Extron), camera control, production switchers, audio/video signals, audio mixers, and hardware; experience with Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office; troubleshooting skills; strong communication, organizational, writing, and time management skills; ability to work independently and lift equipment; adaptable to new technologies.
