We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Content Producer to lead our content creation for the Phoenix Suns' social & digital channels. This role involves leading daily coverage of our team, players, fans, and the NBA, requiring strong shooting, editing, production leadership, and problem-solving skills. The position involves significant travel during the NBA season and non-traditional hours, including games and practices.
What You Will Do
- Document the team and players' journey throughout the season, showcasing on-court and off-court experiences.
- Produce practice, game, and travel videos for social media to highlight team moments and player stories.
- Lead video content in a collaborative social team, monitoring trends and audience preferences to create innovative content.
- Create social-first videos that tell compelling stories about players, coaches, and the community to boost fan engagement.
What We Need From Our Content Producer
- Proven experience in social-first video production and content creation, preferably in basketball or related sports.
- Skills in all aspects of video production, including filming and lighting.
- Strong storytelling skills to craft narratives from raw footage.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with players and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for games and events.
- Experience in creative ideation, production planning, and mentoring videographers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience/Education Requirements
- Undergraduate degree.
- 4-6 years of sports video production experience.
- Advanced skills with Premiere and other editing tools.
