We are seeking a passionate video editor to temporarily join our team as they pursue internship opportunities. You will collaborate with our Multimedia Manager to transform raw footage into promotional assets and educational tutorials for distribution on social media, websites, SMS, email, and more. You will be responsible for editing footage provided by our studio team, utilizing motion graphics and royalty-free music to take these to the next level. We’re hoping our candidate has experience in meeting tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects while treating each with the respect they deserve.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in film studies, production, video editing, visual effects, cinematography, graphic design, or a related field
• Proficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, and Avid Media Composer
• Relevant work experience focusing in the pre and post-production processes, including storyboarding and video editing
• Experience utilizing motion graphics and other special effects
• Excellent time management and communication skills, collaborating with our studio team to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Evaluate raw footage and review shots/storyboard
• Edit video content for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, SMS, email, and more
• Utilize motion graphics, transitions, color correction, and other special effects
• Collaborate with Multimedia Manager to finalize storyboards and implement storytelling
• Accurately follow brand guidelines at all times
• Confidently suggest ways to improve and enhance footage/projects
