The Senior Graphic Designer position works closely with UTI's internal teams and contributes to the great work we do every day to evolve the brand. This role will own the concept and development of marketing materials and online content that supports brand vision and drives results. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for design, strong conceptual thought, and the ability to manage contractors, agency partners, and junior resources for success. Strong branding and production skills across print, digital, and social platforms are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and production of creative assets across digital, print, and large-format applications such as lobby graphics, wall branding, signage, and environmental design.
  • Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Oversee projects from concept to completion, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and mentor junior team members.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to understand project goals, present concepts, and deliver aligned design solutions.
  • Ensure brand consistency and serve as a brand ambassador by reviewing external work.
  • Source or create original photography and video content for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain the organization's creative asset library, templates, and files.
  • Contribute to workflow, tools, and process improvements for team efficiency.
  • Stay updated with emerging design technologies, including AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio.
  • Expertise in print and large-format design; experience across media types (print, digital, social).
  • Proven success in creating sophisticated marketing materials and online content.
  • Prior corporate experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, 3D content management, and AI tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
