Frankston Packaging is looking for a Graphics Prepress Technician to join our team in our Tyler, Tx office. The Graphics Prepress Technician is responsible for preparing art files for printing. This role will be utilized in all aspects of prepress, art, proofing, plating, and file management.

Responsibilities:

  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop – Collaborate with team members as needed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to revise projects as necessary based on feedback.
  • Customer-Supplied Art – Modify customer-supplied art to fit existing die lines according to established procedures.
  • Proofing and Plating – Modify Proofing and plating as needed, and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related discipline is highly preferred
  • At least three years of Flexo printing, color management, and plating is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter and team player
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite and design software
  • Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Esko, Color Pilot, Art Pro+, and Studio is preferred
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment and as a member of a team
