About the Role
Poosh is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support the planning, creation, and execution of content across our social platforms. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, this role will be hands-on in video production, trend spotting, content production, and community management. You’ll play a key role in shaping Poosh’s social storytelling—helping us engage our community in real time and amplify our brand voice across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
This is a collaborative role perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a strong eye for aesthetics, and is eager to grow in the world of digital storytelling and brand building.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of Poosh’s TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest accounts, including posting, community engagement, and trend-based content creation
- Create short-form video content (filming, editing, music selection, captions) optimized for each platform
- Support the Social Media Manager in building and maintaining the monthly social media calendar across editorial, ecommerce, events, and partnerships
- Research and pitch fresh content ideas inspired by emerging trends, cultural moments, and audience insights
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams (Brand Partnerships, Editorial, E-Commerce, Marketing, Creative, Events) to ensure content aligns with campaigns and initiatives
- Build campaigns in email platform and oversee scheduling, approvals and email sends
- Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute to the development of social-first activations
- Track and monitor social performance metrics to help inform content decisions
- Provide on-site support at events to capture and create real-time social content
- Source and select images for editorial landing pages and Instagram in-feed posts that drive traffic back to Poosh articles
- Proactively engage in social listening by commenting on relevant videos and joining online conversations to expand Poosh’s presence in health and wellness communities
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in social media coordination, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong proficiency with TikTok and Instagram, including a demonstrated track record of creating video-first content
- Skilled in video editing apps and tools (e.g., Instagram Edits, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred) a plus.
- Knowledge of photo editing and graphic design basics (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) a plus
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft captions that reflect Poosh’s brand voice
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and content calendars
- Comfortable in live, fast-paced environments—whether that’s filming on your iPhone at an event or capturing behind-the-scenes content in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a creative eye, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset
- Passion for wellness, lifestyle, and digital culture

- Ability to independently produce 3–5 short-form videos per week that hit engagement benchmarks.
- Consistent, high-quality content that resonates with the Poosh audience and drives engagement
- Growth in TikTok and Instagram reach, engagement, and community interaction
- Timely, trend-forward content that positions Poosh as a relevant voice in lifestyle and wellness
- Smooth collaboration with internal teams to ensure social content amplifies campaigns across the business
- Proactive contributions to social strategy and new creative ideas

- Salary: $68,640 annually
