TEACHER - MUSIC - TRAVELING MUSIC INSTRUCTOR - LOW BRASS AND PERCUSSION/DRUM LINE
Hourly wage schedule starts at $25.48 per hour.
Milwaukee Public Schools is actively recruiting candidates for traveling music instruction (TMI) facilitating small group lessons; low brass and percussion/drum line.
Placements and work schedules are determined based on school need in our elementary, middle, and/or high school settings. This position does not require a Wisconsin teaching license, but applicants with a music degree are preferred.
A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) TMI provides instruction for students which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level.
The educational program is offered in an equitable, multi-cultural setting and teaches all children to think deeply, critically and creatively. The TMI's work supports the MPS strategic plan.

This position requires travel. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and access to a fully insured vehicle throughout time of employment.
