UX/Frontend Designer/Developer

Client is looking for a pragmatic and user-focused UX Developer to bridge the gap between design and development. UX Developers must be able to work independently on their individual deliverables and collaborate as part of a team with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate intuitive user experiences into responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces. They should be able to thrive in iterative environments and care deeply about usability, aesthetics, and technical precision. They must also be able to take direction from lead developers and other stakeholders. Furthermore, they should communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.

Key Responsibilities are:

· Translate UX/UI designs into clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML/CSS/JavaScript that are reusable

· Collaborate cross-functionally with design and engineering teams to ensure design fidelity and technical feasibility

· Implement responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms, with a mobile first approach

· Optimize user interactions for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and usability

· Prototype and test interactive components to validate design decisions and user flows

· Contribute to design systems and reusable component libraries

· Advocate for UX best practices and user-centered development throughout the product lifecycle

· Participate in requirements discussions and transform them into useful applications in line with service goals.

The right candidate will have:

· Proven experience as a UX Developer, Front-End Developer, or similar role

· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)

· Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility

· Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, etc.

· Experience with GitHub, JIRA and Confluence

· Ability to interpret wireframes, mockups, and user flows into functional interfaces

· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
