Sr User Experience (UX) Designer (Finance)

As a Senior UX Designer, you will deliver end-to-end user experiences across every customer touchpoint for Honeywell's Industrial Automation business. Using human-centered design principles, you'll ensure our products and applications are useful, usable, and desirable.

You will support the digital design of global products and contribute to shaping intuitive, branded, and seamless experiences across platforms. Partnering with interaction designers, industrial designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers, you will help define and execute world-class user experiences that drive the next generation of Honeywell products.

LOCATION: This role can be based in Fort Mill, SC or Lincolnshire, IL.

ILLINOIS Salary Range Only:

The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $150,000. This serves as a general guideline; actual offers consider experience, education, skills, and market factors.

The application period is estimated at 40 days from posting, subject to change based on business needs and candidate availability.

US PERSON REQUIREMENT:

Due to U.S. export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics)
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Human Factors

WE VALUE:

  • Strong UX/UI portfolio demonstrating process and deliverables
  • Experience with Lean UX and Agile methods
  • Experience working with Agile teams
  • Understanding of design systems and component libraries
  • Experience in interaction visual design and responsive design
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma
  • Experience with research, usability testing, and success metrics
  • Project scoping, planning, and execution skills
  • Some experience with AI interfaces

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Design high-fidelity interfaces adhering to brand and usability standards
  • Define interaction dynamics and ensure seamless user feedback
  • Identify success metrics to ensure customer value
  • Implement and refine design systems for consistency
  • Ensure designs are accessible and responsive across devices
  • Conduct user interviews and usability assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs
