Job Description:

Essential Function:

• 35% Interaction Design: Lead card sorting activities, create content strategy, conceptualize navigation schemas, search schema, and taxonomies.
• Identify user scenarios, create sitemap, task flows, user flows, and wireframes.
• Lead the team to review UX interaction design, provide guidance, and mentorship.
• 30% Visual Design: Create UI mockups, review mockups created by UX team members, and guide improvements.
• Contribute to the enterprise-level Design system and support its maintenance.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure UX/UI standards are applied to final product delivery.
• 20% UX Research: Lead UX research phases, define research techniques, recruit participants, conduct stakeholder and user interviews, and deliver findings reports.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market assessment, heuristic evaluation, develop personas, empathy maps, and user journey maps.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative user testing, compile findings, and mentor team members on research techniques.
• 15% UX Strategy & Planning: Define UX strategy, create a UX roadmap, plan activities and deliverables, and define UX metrics for product lifecycle improvement.

Education Level:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience (additional 4 years of experience).

Experience:

• 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 50% UX Research: Lead research, develop techniques, conduct interviews, deliver reports, develop personas and maps, mentor team.
• 50% UX Strategy & Planning: Define strategy, create roadmap, plan activities, define metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS (Advanced).
• Experience with user research and testing tools (Advanced).
• Basic knowledge of Lean UX and Agile environments (Expert).
• Excellent communication skills (Expert).
• Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize work, and meet deadlines (Advanced).
• Experience with Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, Invision, UXPin, InDesign, Sketch (Advanced).

Licenses/Certifications:

• Preferred: User Experience Certified User Experience Professional (CUEP).
