Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Regional Visual Merchandising Manager to lead and develop store field teams in executing outstanding visual merchandising (VM) strategies. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, enhancing customer experiences, and bringing our brand storytelling to life through compelling product displays.
As a key leader, you will provide training and development to ensure teams effectively implement VM standards that showcase the unique craftsmanship of musical instruments and audio equipment. You will also serve as the primary liaison between field teams and the corporate VM team, ensuring store challenges and feedback are communicated and addressed to maintain excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Presentation:
- Supports RVP and DM partners with overarching VM strategy and planogram rollout planning.
- Communicate Brand related information on weekly regional conference calls.
- Partner with Sr. Dir. Of VM & Sr. VM Manger to develop solutions for optimizing product assortment to maximize presentation and drive sales results.
- Solicit DM feedback regarding planogram rollouts, and opportunities in store.
- Reinforce best practices and identify opportunities to increase productivity, eliminate redundancy, and tighten up execution hours.
- Execution:
- Work directly with DM’s to resolve store specific merchandising challenges that require adaptations including store size, store type, volume, spatial constraints and inventory levels.
- Partner with corporate visual merchandisers to ensure consistency of visual merchandising tactics and ensure region compliance.
- Support fixture rollout and transformation initiatives.
- Conduct regular photo audits to ensure planogram compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with GO manager for all new store openings and remodels.
- People Development:
- Conduct training sessions in field to ensure current and future merchandising direction is communicated and presentation skill sets are developed in DM/SM population in a structured format.
- Partner closely with Regional VP’s (RVP) and DM’s on merchandising initiatives and expectations.
- Develop and execute visual merchandising training for field personnel that complies with Brand standards and Company Objectives.
- Communicate to the RVP/DM group all seasonal objectives, and key transformation information and dates.
- Coach and develop DM/SM teams to develop merchandising skills that enhance their sales results.
- Build constructive, effective relationships throughout the company to align support for all VM and brand initiatives.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyze sales and performance data to measure the impact of visual initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with store leadership to drive merchandising decisions that enhance customer experience and sales.
Professional Experience & Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Regional Visual Merchandising Manager experience.
- Enthusiasm for music and a current understanding of music culture, instruments, and audio equipment, or a strong desire to learn.
- Strong training and facilitation skills
- Proven track record of developing creative visual concepts that drive sales.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for visual design and merchandising assets.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Self-starter with sound written communication skills
- High level of skill motivating and influencing others.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within the region

Pay Rate:$100,000 - $130,000/yr depending on background and experience.
This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance
