EMSC is expanding its Marketing Analytics team and seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analyst to help strengthen our growing tracking and reporting function. We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset—eager to take ownership of what they build, ask smart questions, and grow into a high-impact contributor in how our marketing data comes to life. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring data accuracy across platforms, supporting clean reporting, and owning the tagging infrastructure that powers our analytics. Responsibilities: Own implementation of marketing tracking tags using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Maintain and update the tracking architecture, including UTM parameters, event naming conventions, and documentation. Serve as the point of contact for tagging-related questions across internal teams (media, web, CRM), helping troubleshoot and validate implementation. Support the development of marketing dashboards in Looker and Looker Studio by gathering requirements, sourcing data, and building visualizations. Run basic SQL queries in BigQuery to assist with dashboard builds, ad hoc analyses, and data validation. Monitor the accuracy and consistency of key marketing data across platforms; proactively identify and escalate discrepancies. Assist in the rollout of new tracking solutions and integrations, ensuring proper configuration and alignment with analytics standards. Help maintain and expand internal documentation to support scalable tracking and reporting processes. Actively participate in skill-building opportunities to grow within the marketing analytics function. Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 0–2 years of experience in a marketing analytics, digital marketing, or data-focused role (internships welcome). Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4—able to debug events, check triggers, and use preview mode. Basic proficiency in SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) and comfort working in BigQuery or a similar cloud data environment. Experience working with Looker Studio (or another BI tool) to update or maintain dashboards. Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to data quality and QA. Comfortable maintaining documentation (e.g., tagging libraries, tracking specs, UTM dictionaries). Clear communicator—able to translate technical tracking concepts for non-technical teams. Self-starter with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-building environment.
