Position Summary

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing to drive, develop, and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals. Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands. Manage financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget, asset utilization, and preparing business reports. Ensure facility-wide compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives. Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others when needed. Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities. Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; identifying training and development needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth. Teach and support logistics and company policies and procedures; participate in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates facility-wide. Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field; and 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 4 years experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics /retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications
