Our Automotive focused sales team continues to grow and is looking to fill a Regional Sales Executive position in our West Coast/Northern California Region. This job will only be available to an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the automotive advertising space and who also fits our company culture/core values.

Great, you must have said Yes! Let’s share some insights about the position of Regional Sales Executive. As we’ve mentioned, we’ve been in the automotive space for over 20 years serving primarily franchised dealerships (both directly and through OEM programs) with digital marketing and highly impactful direct mail campaigns. Wait! We just said “digital marketing,” and it seems nowadays everyone throws the “digital” word around, so let’s clarify what we mean. The bottom line, we are not new to the digital scene, but we are always progressing. Our core digital services are SEM/PPC, SEO, Social Advertising, OTT/CTV/OLV, Social Management, Reputation Management, Web Graphics, and the sub-categories of these services. Now that we’ve got that clarified let’s get back to the position insights. The primary function of the Regional Sales Director is the acquisition of new customers in our West Coast/Northern California area. As you can imagine, general duties include sales generation activities such as in-person and web meetings, outbound prospecting, traveling to visit prospects at their business, attending trade shows, reporting, and working with your manager to help execute successful outcomes. The successful candidate will be an energetic team player, persuasive, well-organized, and able to demonstrate the ability to sell and manage a pipeline commensurate with revenue targets.

Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels

Deliver better than best in class service to both prospects and clients

Work closely with colleagues on opportunities and solving issues

Understand the competitive landscape and market trends

Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, process, and current partnerships

Competent with Google Workspace and Salesforce CRM

Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results in a dynamic environment

Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, internal management, and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences

Generate and maintain accurate Accounts and Opportunities

Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service and results

Have a solid working knowledge of Google Analytics

Be very competent with the workings of the retail automotive dealerships and their advertising options

Where you will be based

Can you take a guess? Since this position is for Regional Sales Executive, West Coast/Northern California the successful candidate will live in the Northern California area of the USA, preferably close to a major city. You will be required to travel to TurnKey Marketing Headquarters in Southern California for initial training and regularly throughout the year for events, sales team training, and company initiatives. However, most of your time will be spent working from your home office or a satellite TurnKey Marketing office, if applicable.
