Base pay range

strategic and experienced Public Relations Leader
to drive brand visibility and reputation management in the U.S. market (even across the Americas), targeting Gen Z, collectors, and pop culture enthusiasts. As a leader, you will design and execute integrated PR strategies, manage high-stakes communications, and build strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders. What You Will Achieve Media Relations & Community Engagement Develop and execute
media relations strategies
to amplify POP MARTs collaborations, product launches, and cultural impact. Maintain
strong relationships
and liaise with journalists, editors, bloggers, and niche pop culture outlets. Crisis Communications & Strategy Serve as the primary lead for
crisis communications , developing proactive and reactive strategies to protect and enhance the brands reputation. Monitor
public sentiment
and media coverage to identify potential risks and opportunities. Lead and mentor a high-performing PR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Oversee the planning and execution of
fan events, brand campaigns, and press conferences . Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
(marketing, product, and global PR) to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging. Partner with global teams to adapt PR strategies for the U.S. market while maintaining alignment with POP MARTs
brand values
and objectives. Analyse
media coverage
and
public sentiment trends , providing actionable insights to inform future strategies. What You Will Need 10+ years of PR/communications experience in
toys, retail, fashion, or entertainment industries. A bachelor's degree in public relations,
communications,
or a related field is required; a
masters degree
is a plus. Proven track record of
managing high-stakes crises
and protecting brand reputation. Strong
media network
with established relationships across mainstream and niche pop culture outlets. Exceptional
written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver impactful messaging. Demonstrated experience in
leading and developing PR teams , with a focus on mentorship and performance optimisation. Strong
project management skills
and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for
trendy toys
and understanding of
Gen Z/collector psychology
is a big plus.
