Description

The Business Development and Home Health Marketer is responsible for promoting our home health and hospice services by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources. This position plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and increasing awareness of our agency's high-quality care for patients, families, and caregivers.

Schedule: Full-Time (M-F) some weekends

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase referrals and promote home health and hospice services to physicians, hospitals, and community organizations. Identify potential referral sources and establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals, discharge planners, social workers, and other relevant partners. Conduct regular visits and presentations to referral sources to discuss our services, address questions, and provide educational materials. Attend community events, health fairs, and networking functions to raise awareness of our agency's services and build partnerships within the community. Gather and analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in our service offerings, supporting strategic decision-making and growth initiatives. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure marketing messages align with patient care goals and agency values, promoting a consistent and positive brand image. Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, referrals, and leads in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, tracking progress and measuring success. Provide regular feedback to management on marketing strategies, initiatives, and referral source needs, contributing to the ongoing refinement and optimization of marketing efforts. Assist in the development of promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with brand guidelines. Work closely with the Administrator to ensure seamless agency operations and exceptional patient care, supporting the overall success of the organization. Perform all other duties assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field. Some experience in healthcare marketing, business development, sales, home health or hospice care preferred. Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with referral sources and achieving measurable results in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills and experience using market data to drive strategic decisions and initiatives. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and adaptability in developing and executing marketing strategies. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel within the community. Physical Requirements:

Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling paperwork, typing, and using office equipment. Visual and auditory acuity to review documents, communicate effectively, and respond to patient inquiries. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach to access files, storage cabinets, and other work-related materials. Stamina to work long hours and engage with a diverse group of people within the community to foster relationships. Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager.

Salary Description

$40,000-70,000
