Marketing Internship

Position Overview:
As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing department of our music label. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in promoting and developing musical talent. You will work closely with Marketing executives, artists, and various departments within our company to assist in the promotion and development of emerging artists.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing/Social Media: Assist Marketing & Social Media Team with asset management Be involved in artist campaigns & keep marketing timelines updated Create detailed social media plans for pre-release & post-release for a plethora of artists Create and update one sheets for artists Administrative Support:
Assist in organizing and maintaining artist-related documents, and other administrative tasks. Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings and conference calls Assist with filing executive expense reports and tracking receipts, via Expensify Run errands for Giant Music Marketing team as needed Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, target demographics, and potential collaborations and other opportunities for artists. Assist in evaluating the commercial viability and potential success of artists and projects. Creative Input:
Offer creative input and ideas to contribute to the artistic direction and branding of artists. Brainstorm innovative marketing and promotional strategies to enhance artist visibility and reach. Qualifications:
Current college sophomore or above. LA Based / In Person Work (min. 3 days/week) Experience with editing & graphic design software, such as Photoshop and Canva Overall agnostic passion for music - you appreciate all genres and styles and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the music industry. Experienced and active user of social media, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and you are knowledgeable about social media trends & pop culture news Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced and diverse commercial environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with music industry software/tools such as Chartmetric, Notion, Expensify is a plus! Have a flexible class schedule and access to your own vehicle for reliable transportation Prior experience in music-related roles, marketing, or social media is preferred but not required. Details:
Our office is in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA. Pay: $17.87 per hour Expected hours: 20-29 hours per week Vehicle/mode of transportation needed
