GEI is seeking a CADD Drafter/Designer to join our Raleigh, NC office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist with preparation of engineering design drawings for a variety of project types including dams, levees, hydraulic structures, building foundations, civil site design, retaining walls, excavation support systems, industrial structures, and environmental remediation.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties Work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop plan sets (organize layouts, develop details, plan views, etc.) Create, update, and maintain engineering drawings and incorporate redlines and field markups into drawings. Develop quality products, using industry and client standards. Communicate with clients and project teams via email, video conferencing and phone regularly throughout the design process. Coordinate with project managers to ensure that multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines are completed on schedule. Minimum Qualifications

A.S. Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field strongly preferred. At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD 2018 or higher and Civil3D is preferred. Experience with REVIT and MicroStation a plus Must be a team player, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively with others and have strong organizational skills, with a high attention to detail and precision in work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and drive to learn. Experience with M.S. office applications, specifically Excel. We are GEI.
