Marketing Campaigns Manager
The Marketing Campaigns Manager has the opportunity to be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and performance analysis of integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a blend of marcom and audience-based prowess, strategic organization skills, knowledge of channels, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and resonate with target audiences. This role requires independent study of Black & Veatch businesses, markets, audiences, and solutions. The candidate will grow in progressive understanding of our markets, solutions, and audiences to provide coaching and guidance on campaign creation and efficacy.

Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign strategy & planning:
- All campaigns begin with great, audience-based sales and marcom strategy. Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns tailored to specific market segments and client personas. Define campaign objectives, key messages, and value propositions based on customer pain points and business goals. Ensure campaigns are linked to overall imperatives and initiatives for marketing.
Organization and workflow:
- Define processes for the flow of campaign work throughout marketing from ideation and planning through execution, measurement, refinement, and ongoing monitoring.
Execution & coordination:
- Oversee the end-to-end planning for campaigns with business leaders and functional leaders including strategy development, audience-based targets, messaging development by segment and persona, content development, media planning, and channel activation (e.g., paid media, email, social, events). Coordinate deeply with internal teams such as marketing communications (where this role sits), creative services, demand and marketing operations, external and internal communications, events, and regional marketers. Coordinate with external agencies, as necessary.
Cross-functional organization and scheduling:
- Provide end-to-end views and timelines of campaigns by various market segments and personas to ensure coordination of messaging to key targets. Provide templates for campaign planning and reporting for consistent use and application by marketers.
Communications:
- Communicate regularly within marketing and to stakeholders on the status and performance of campaigns.
Performance marketing:
- With the demand manager (as part of marketing operations) and commercial marketers, outline demand generation and performance marketing tactics. Optimize campaigns using data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and ROI.
Stakeholder collaboration:
- Work closely with commercial marketing, sales and pursuits, external communications, and agencies to ensure campaign alignment and consistency across touchpoints. Serve as a key liaison between marketing and segments.
Measurement & reporting:
- Define KPIs and success metrics. Monitor campaign performance and generate insights to inform future strategies.
Expertise and best practices:

You will research, network, and propose marketing campaign methodologies, models for campaign management, and collaborate with marcom, demand, and external communications on real-time content marketing, digital marketing, and social marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with businesses to develop end-to-end marketing campaigns and large programs in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
- Agency background or experience managing agency relationships.
- Excellent knowledge of multichannel and digital marketing tools and techniques, including paid and earned media, demand-based campaigns, email and content marketing, marketing events, and RevOps (MarTech & SalesTech) systems.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign development, and digital marketing channels.
- Efficient project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and enterprise sales and marketing cycles.
- Experience supporting regional and global deployment of marketing campaigns.
- Assertive and ownership mentality understands and feels accountable for the details and success of campaigns.
- Ability to hold crucial conversations and negotiate between stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams and astute at influencing and coaching stakeholders.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on campaign management, digital marketing, and performance media.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, analytics, or related field.
- Strong decision making and judgment.

- Mature problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 8 years progressive experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years progressive experience, including 2+ years supervisory.
