Daikin Applied is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications. This role leads the Daikin Applied brand with internal and external audiences by developing high impact strategies and communications. In this role this person will lead a team of communication professionals and partner with the Sr Marketing Manager and Director of Corporate Events to ensure the consistent, seamless and persuasive presentation of the Daikin Applied brand. This person will transform communications from an ad hoc basis to a driving strategy that engages external stakeholders proactively. The role serves our internal and external audiences, reinforcing Daikin as the leading HVAC solutions provider in the world, and strengthening our presence in North America. What You Will Do

• Build brand equity for Daikin Applied through strategic communications
• Shape and enhance the organizations brand perception through developing communications process and strategy, and authoring, executing and measuring enhanced communications
• Ensure Sales Representatives understand our vision, direction and commitment to both employees and customers, and are informed of changes as they occur
• Lead all Public Relations activity, promoting the corporate brand and solutions portfolio and company news to all internal and external stakeholders
• Develop content strategy and calendar
• Develop media relationships
• Engage and manage PR vendor as needed
• Executive communication support
• Author corporate press releases, corporate announcements, webcasts; partner with business unit leaders to plan, author and edit all external corporate communications
• Align communications with brand promise, voice and identity
• Track and measure effectiveness of communication efforts and optimize in real time
• Lead the development of corporate communications; including all executive presentations
• Partner with the full marketing team (product marketing and events) in delivering superior customer experiences that create impact and improve our brand presence
• This position reports to the VP of Strategic Marketing

Minimum Qualifications

• BA Degree in Liberal Arts, Journalism, Communications, Marketing
• 10 + years of communications experience supporting both internal and external communications needs
• 6 + years of people leadership experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of communications experience
• 8+ years of people leadership experience

• The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,100 - $180,000 + up to 30% bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
