Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing with strong growth marketing expertise to drive strategy and lead a cross-functional team of expertise for Cosmetics products.

This individual is responsible for sales forecasting, creating marketing strategies, partnering with leadership to grow the business and leading a team of experts to efficiently optimize across channels including Paid Search, Affiliates, Influencers, Paid Social, Email, SMS, Amazon and the Website.

Responsibilities:

Define monthly sales goals, leading the team to optimize to reach goals:

Own monthly forecasting, budgets and actualization across channels

Drive optimizations with team, keeping CEO informed

Create CAC goals for new customer acquisition

Own marketing calendar, leading team on content strategy to grow new and existing customer sales:

Includes promotional strategy, awareness campaigns, seasonal campaigns, technical fixes, brand refreshes

Prioritize and supervise launching initiatives

Closely partner with creative team to develop and recommend messaging strategy, leveraging marketing channel and customer led lens

Create full funnel strategies to grow awareness, engagement, new customer sales and repeat purchases:

Ensure leadership and channel alignment and accountability for annual strategies

Develop GTM strategies to launch new products

Partner with Social Media team to expand and refine influencer & ambassador partnerships

Create playbooks for international expansion

Partner with team on test roadmap (new channels, targeting, creative, landing pages)

Manage and mentor team and agency partners:

Drive accountability for marketing strategies across SEO, Website, Paid Search, Affiliates, Influencers, Email & SMS

Evaluate and recommend additional hires and internal resources as needed

Set up annual reviews and career conversations

Help teams solve roadblocks as needed

Share monthly key learnings and performance to goals:

Pull, organize and analyze KPIs across various reports (Shopify, GA, Meta, Klaviyo)

Present performance to forecast, key drivers, wins and opportunities ongoing

Create new processes as needed, ensuring best practices in place. Includes:

Playbooks and process for international expansion

Shared drive organization

Tracking and data management

Partner with CEO to develop long term goals, such as:

Market expansion, international growth, new product launches

Develop strong understanding of customers, using existing data to inform future goals to drive LTV

Monitor competitive landscape & future opportunities that fit with the brand and audience

Ensure brand consistency across channels

Who we are looking for:

15+ years in leading a team in growth or performance marketing role

Strong leadership skills; ability to prioritize business opportunities across the team

Hands on experience and team management experience for Website, SEO, social media, Paid Media, Email & SMS to grow sales for small businesses

Beauty and startup experience a plus

Deep industry knowledge of all marketing channels, digital marketing industry (creative resources, technical and tracking setup, beauty industry

Proven track record of successfully growing sales for small businesses (ideally for a beauty brand)

Ability to uplevel & communicate strategies and execute campaigns at the tactical level

Comfortable pulling and leveraging data to grow businesses (gross, net, ROAS, LTV, CAC)
