Sr. Communications Manager

As a CBRE Sr. Communications Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for providing communication and support to high-profile department, client, and organizational areas.

This job is part of the Communications job function. They are responsible for developing internal and external communications that are related to organizational values, strategy, performance, and others.

Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Drive the development and delivery of internal communications, including All Hands, newsletters, internal messaging platform campaigns, and executive communications from the Alliance Director. Serve as SME / consultant for all communications initiatives across service lines.

Improve client facing communications & governance materials to ensure impactful, data driven, outcomes oriented content at meetings like Quarterly Business Reviews or Monthly Operational Reviews.

Support graphic design and content visuals, with a specific eye towards integrating data visualizations and dashboards. Support team upskilling in presentation and delivery of client facing content.

Develop and approve internal and external communication plans and develop and implement account employee learning & development plans.

Support new employee onboarding, facilitate and develop high quality & engaging training content.

Partner with key collaborators and executive management on short and long-term projects. Build and supervise communications performance metrics and campaign outcomes.

Review data collected from interviews, surveys, and brainstorming sessions. Evaluate and share the results with the team.

Stay up to date on the current marketplace and trends. Learn new programs, technology, and software and introduce them to the department as needed.

Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.

Leadership skills to empower the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job field, multiple job subject areas, and department.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Working understanding of SharePoint.

Extensive organizational skills and a sophisticated inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Communications Manager position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Communications Manager position is $155,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
