Title: Product Designer

Location: Onsite in Bay Area

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Compensation: $50-$74/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Summary:

As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. You will utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills, owning the experience for a wide area of the product.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design flows and experiences that are simple and elegant
  2. Transform broad, conceptual ideas into useful and valuable products
  3. Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the product and executive teams
  4. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually improve quality
  5. Partner with Product Managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience from conception to launch

Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in design or related field
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills for iOS and Android
  • Experience working with and improving design systems
  • Hardware experience is a plus
  • Experience extending a design system
  • Connectivity experience is a plus

Additional skills include verbal and written communication, problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, front-end programming, and experience in building and shipping applications or software. Candidates should provide a URL with examples of interaction design work and demonstrate end-to-end product design experience.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
