The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for increasing community awareness among target audiences and cultivating relationships with referral sources to maximize admissions at assigned communities. This role also oversees census development, ensuring alignment with occupancy and payor mix goals.

Essential Job Duties

Financial Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Marketing Plan and budget to drive awareness and inquiries from prospective residents.
  • Manage and monitor the marketing budget using Yardi.

Community Relations

  • Implement strategies to grow resident census and meet occupancy targets.
  • Enhance visibility of the community within the local market.
  • Conduct SWOT analyses of local competitors.
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with primary and secondary referral sources.
  • Dedicate approximately 75% of time to external outreachidentifying, qualifying, and nurturing referral relationships.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements related to resident admissions and transitions.

Facility Engagement

  • Plan and host marketing events that promote positive public relations, as outlined in the quarterly marketing plan.
  • Collaborate daily with department managers to coordinate marketing efforts and resident admissions.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the Executive Director and Regional Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Support leadership in developing new business opportunities and partnerships.

Salary $50,000.00 a year plus commission.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent professional experience.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of marketing and sales experience in healthcare or residential sales/rentals, with proven accountability for achieving goals.
  • Ability to conduct strategic market and demographic analysis.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
  • Proven track record of meeting census and financial targets.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 2575 pounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
