As the Senior Marketing Project Manager, you will partner with assigned business units within Marketing to lead program and agency management efforts and support cross-functional marketing planning and execution. You approach project management as both an art and a science, combining strategic insight with execution excellence to bring business initiatives to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and understand that strong partnershipsboth internal and externalare essential to achieving impactful results and driving success.
Sr. Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary project management contact for highly complex and high-visibility programs such as social media influencer and programmatic initiatives; lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from kickoff to completion.
- Ensure employee-centric programs are executed through the lens of company mission and values.
- Manage and monitor project or program schedules, progress, and costs to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Proactively anticipate challenges, escalate risks when needed, and drive alignment on the best path forward.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships across assigned business units and teams to execute campaign work flawlessly and improve operational efficiency. Provide strategic counsel based on a deep understanding of client business dynamics, objectives, and marketing strategies.
- Influence business planning processes by improving cross-functional communication, workflow integration, and collaboration to meet key performance indicators.
- Lead relationships with creative agencies, successfully managing the briefing, creative development, production, and delivery processes. Act as a marketing consultant to business partners, identifying strategic opportunities across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track success metrics and program performance, integrating insights and learnings into future initiatives.
- 7+ years of experience managing creative agencies through the end-to-end creative development process
- 7+ years of project management experience - leading complex, large-scale, or multiple mid-sized projects, including complete project lifecycle management (of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications)
- Experience leading social media programs; content creation and familiarity with social trends (e.g., TikTok) is a plus
- Strong background in requirements gathering, analysis, and defining project objectives, scope, and resources.
- Proven ability to lead within a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment, building collaborative relationships and driving alignment across teams
- Skilled in managing and mentoring teams, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and change management capabilities
- Familiarity with internal processes and workflows from prior experience in similar organizations is a plus
