International Banking organization seeks a Marketing Officer Bilingual Japanese.
Ensure the efficient processing of loans, time deposits, foreign exchange, funds transfer, etc. Support senior team members with training junior staff. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between the account officer, related departments in the US, Tokyo head office, and clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of financial transactions such as loans, deposits, and foreign exchange deals.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, investigate, and resolve complex operational problems.
- Open/close accounts, make modifications, and prepare required documents for system registration.
- Provide quality service to clients primarily via telephone and email, working closely with Account Officers.
- Assist the Group Head and senior team members in training junior staff.
Requirements
Nice to have:
- Experience with banking products such as specialized lending, transaction structuring, and compliance.
- Ability to understand credit analysis and proposals.
- Basic banking compliance knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills for operational issues.
- Good organization and planning skills.
- Strong team orientation, understanding others' perspectives and challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access/databases.
Must have:
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) or three years of related experience.
- Bilingual (English/Japanese).
