Position Summary:

As a Piping Designer, you will be instrumental in the success of our engineering, fabrication, and construction projects. Your expertise in piping design, plant layouts, and modularization will enhance project efficiency, cost control, and execution. High-quality, timely work is essential. You will be expected to meetand strive to exceedperformance targets related to quality, timeliness, and budget.

Using advanced design tools and best practices, you will develop conceptual and detailed designs that improve constructability, maintainability, and performance. Youll collaborate across disciplinesprocess, structural, and project managementto ensure alignment with client needs.

• Project Coordination Work with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure piping and structural designs meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• 3D Modeling & Drawings Create accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings (CADWorx / AutoCAD Plant 3D) to support efficient construction.
• Modular Design Develop modular layouts to improve cost, productivity, and project timelines.
• Design Reviews Lead biweekly reviews and clash detection to resolve issues pre-fabrication.
• Continuous Improvement Contribute to standardization and best practices for long-term productivity.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-5 years of industry experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx Plant, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving, communication, time management, and attention to detail
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, 3D modeling, plant layouts, and piping/steel design
• Knowledge of OSHA and ASME B31.3/BPE codes

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Familiarity with industrial and sanitary piping systems
• Deep knowledge of piping components and materials
• Understanding of batch/continuous systems and pipe stress
• Estimating design work and managing CAD libraries/standards
• Coordination with structural and electrical disciplines
• Knowledge of pipe supports, spans, and loading/seismic considerations
