Our Global Corporate Communications team communicates to the world's purpose of economic empowerment and the need for our businesses to create tools to help expand access to the economy for our diverse audiences of sellers, individuals, artists, fans and developers.
We are looking for an accomplished Corporate Communications expert, focusing on Issues Management, to join the Corporate Communications team, which protects and advocates for our brand globally. You will develop and execute communications strategies that help navigate through complex and high-stakes situations, including crises, regulatory matters, and reputational risks. You will step into an important role, requiring the ability to manage sensitive communications, anticipate issues, and communicate with partners internally and externally.
We are looking for someone that has creativity, and the ability to change course quickly and perform in high-stress situations

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop systems for early warning signs and potential reputational risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies for managing issues and crises.
  • Prepare strategic communication plans, key messaging, and responses for sensitive topics.
  • Serve as a key point of contact during crises, working with senior leadership to ensure timely, transparent, and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overarching communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Craft and refine key corporate messages, positioning the company as an industry leader and trusted brand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including media, regulators, customers, and employees.
  • Handle media inquiries related to sensitive issues and provide spokesperson support when necessary.
  • Draft statements, media responses, and external communications that reflect the company's stance and position on corporate issues.
  • Proactively monitor industry trends, media coverage, and regulatory environments to identify emerging issues that could impact the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8-10 years relevant work experience, either at a PR agency or on an in-house communications team
  • Proven experience in handling high-pressure communication situations, including crises
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments
  • Experience managing media relations and serving as a spokesperson

Pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
