Administered by the College for Creative Studies, Kresge Arts in Detroit (KAID) represents one aspect of The Kresge Foundations investment in Detroit, providing support to artists living and working in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Since 2008, Kresge Arts in Detroit has awarded more than $7.36 million through 14 Kresge Eminent Artist Awards ($50,000 each), 258 Kresge Artist fellowships ($25,000 each), and 42 Gilda Awards ($5,000 each).
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Communications Manager leads Kresge Arts in Detroits communication strategy and implementation. This role also helps develop opportunities to extend the programs influence and impact through community-based collaborations. The position is full-time and is funded by a one-year grant, with a high likelihood of continuation.
