Marketing Associate - Masterbrand

Position Overview

Lilly is a medicine company committed to continuous improvement and prioritizing health to help people live longer, healthier lives.

The Global Brand Activation team manages all corporate brand marketing efforts, including media, sports, and influencer marketing, creating campaigns centered around patient needs and insights.

We are staffing for a Marketing Associate - Masterbrand responsible for executing, implementing, and measuring Lillys Above Brand campaigns tactics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing tactics of Lillys Masterbrand campaigns across multiple channels and markets.
  • Leading the execution of key tactics (website, social media, OOH, print), preparing creative assets for senior leadership review.
  • Managing Veeva process for key tactics, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
  • Coordinating efforts for timely measurement and recommending optimizations.

The ideal candidate has experience in campaign development and execution with proven results. They can build trust and collaborate across teams internally and externally, working closely with Partnerships and Activation teams, especially regarding talent and influencer selection.

Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensure alignment on campaign tactics, and oversee execution.

Creative Development: Collaborate with external agencies to create and deliver campaign tactics and launch plans.

Collaboration: Work with external agencies and internal teams (Media, Social, Legal, Regulatory) to ensure compliant campaign delivery within an IAT agency model.

Asset Management: Manage campaign assets and ensure approval and compliance.

Media Activation: Coordinate launch plans with media teams and agencies.

Data-Driven Approach: Partner with analytics and research teams to develop frameworks, metrics, and optimization strategies.

Agency Management: Maintain relationships with agency leads to achieve strategic goals.

Risk Management: Ensure compliance with marketing policies and maintain good practices across Privacy, IT, Legal, and Regulatory areas.

Financial Management: Manage budgets accurately and ensure compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 2+ years in marketing, entertainment marketing, partnerships, or related fields
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mass marketing and multiple media channels with proven results
  • Pharma experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong collaboration, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed with excellent project and budget management skills
  • Proven influence and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity
  • Effective in diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail

  • Position based in Indianapolis, with relocation support and up to 25% travel

Compensation for this role ranges from $57,750 to $129,800, depending on experience and location. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify these programs as needed.
