Piping Designer

Responsibilities / Requirements
- Experience with Onshore Upstream and Midstream projects
- Prepare complete design packages, including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables
- Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designers, and working drawings, including projections, sectional views, and standard specifications
- Develop parts lists, procurement lists, bills of materials (BOM), and specifications; revise as needed based on engineering changes
- Ensure specification and code compliance, equipment compatibility, and cost efficiency
- Assist with field surveys, document existing conditions, and recommend design solutions
- Check field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-built drawings
- Use 2D and 3D CAD software to create layouts and fabrication/assembly drawings of mechanical systems and components
- Estimate man-hours for discipline-specific scope of work
- Maintain organized file management following industry standards
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree from a Technical Institution preferred
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CADWorx software
