You'll never be bored in this role The Project Manager, Marketing Operations is the backbone of execution within the marketing organization. This seasoned, organized operator ensures campaign plans translate into flawless delivery by managing processes, tools, resources, and cross-functional alignment. The role requires both discipline in governance and executionstewarding the project charter, establishing timelines, managing deadlines, tracking and reconciling budgets, securing approvals and leading the post-mortem evaluation report, while enabling teams to deliver best-in-class marketing initiatives across advertising (print, radio, TV), digital + social media marketing, eCommerce, in-store, community events and regional / customer / product-specific testing. Owns operational execution for all marketing department initiatives, ensuring these are delivered on time, on budget, and fully aligned across internal / external stakeholders, channels, customer touchpoints, and business functions. Acts as the epicenter for operational excellence, resource (budget and time) management, process governance, and enablement.

Strong expertise with project management tools (Monday.com, or similar). Demonstrated ability to manage change, enforce governance, and influence adoption of new processes, while maintaining a culture of service. Best-in-class and empathetic organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, while guiding all elements of multiple initiatives.
Success metrics include:
Multiple campaigns consistently launched on time, within budget, and with cross-channel alignment. Ability to influence, negotiate and lead the timeline / deliverable process to ensure all stakeholders are informed, prompted and guided through the development of initiatives. Increased operational efficiency through improved workflows, approvals, and resource utilization, leaning heavily on tools, understanding the marketing plan and what resources are available to problem solve and deliver initiatives at a high level of excellence. Strong stakeholder satisfaction with marketing execution and visibility. Stakeholders enabled with timely, high-quality and proactive campaign leadership and support.
What You'll Do:
Planning, Process & Governance
Own and manage the marketing project management tool, ensuring accuracy of communication, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Lead execution of the marketing campaign calendar, coordinating across stakeholders. Collaborate on developing project charters, workflows, and approval paths. Enforce process governance while leading change management for new processes, tools, and technologies.
Executional Enablement & Support
Steward end-to-end execution across all marketing department initiatives, using a central project management tool, as a subject matter expert. Manage internal socialization of campaigns, ensuring visibility and alignment across marketing and business functions. Facilitate leadership, legal and stakeholder approvals to keep campaigns moving on time with best-in-class quality deliverables.
Budgeting, Resource & Vendor Management
Track and reconcile marketing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor utilization to ensure efficiency and compliance. Oversee vendor onboarding and manage external agency integrations. Support compliance and risk management for marketing execution and vendor partnerships. Manage PO / Accounting process, including vendor invoicing from a marketing standpoint, to ensure vendors are being paid on time and accurately.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
Serve as a central connector across internal marketing teams and external agency / supplier contacts, as well as merchandising, operations, finance, and CX to align campaign execution with business priorities. Build strong relationships with multiple agency counterparts, ensuring smooth collaboration, accountability, and integration with internal teams. Lead clear and timely communication, alignment, and visibility across stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
7+ years of project management or marketing operations experience, preferably in retail, finance, or multi-unit franchise environments. Proven track record of managing a significant number of large- and small-scale marketing programs, budgets, and cross-functional projects. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Project Management, or related field; PMP or similar certification preferred.
