You will focus on designing, developing, and deploying GenAI products at scale that will simplify the internal efficiency, deliver better customer value, automate manual tasks, enhance advertiser experience and accelerate product launches at Twitch Platform.

You have deep expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and experience with cloud computing technologies. You can work independently in an ambiguous environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in the GenAI space. You are an excellent communicator and can explain complex technical concepts to various audiences, can frame loosely defined problems into well-defined GenAI business problems, and is a strategic thinker who can balance research innovation with business requirements and product delivery.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead the development of enterprise-grade GenAI solutions, using LLMs, embedding models, and multi-modal AI systems.
* Design and implement scalable architectures for GenAI applications using AWS services in a production environment.
* Closely collaborate with engineer and product teams to identify and implement novel GenAI use cases.
* Develop and implement evaluation frameworks for GenAI models.
* Author technical papers and present at internal/external conferences.
* Mentor Junior scientist and contribute to the team's technical strategy.

APM Twitch team is committed to accelerating Twitchs ad revenue growth by driving innovation in deeply embedded demand-side tech integration, ads sourcing, brand safety and bidder optimization. By innovating new tech solutions, we aim to streamline sales processes and enhance the advertiser experience, enabling scalable, data-driven decisions that align with Twitchs revenue objectives. We are focused on delivering high-impact, reliable demand solutions that empower advertisers to maximize performance and help position Twitch as a leader in digital ad monetization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
