The Content Manager (CM) is a client-facing strategist and operations executor. Focused on optimization, KPI tracking, publishing, and performance management, the CM is the tactical brain of the client relationship. They serve as the client's day-to-day point of contact and are responsible for delivering the strategy crafted by the CS. They do not ideate or create content; they manage its deployment, community response, and analytical performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the clients first point of contact for all questions, updates, and deliverables
- Oversee KPI tracking and monthly reporting (A5)
- Manage Trello content calendar: input all CS-generated content, assign shoot dates, and
- Finalize publish timelines
- Monitor underperformance, flag issues to the Implementation Manager, and escalate to CS only if concept failure is confirmed
- Fill out and distribute Media Order Forms to Content Creators, followed by a 15-minute verbal alignment meeting
- Maintain platform health through posting, scheduling, community interaction, and comment/DM management
- Handle weekly check-ins, reporting syncs, and client communication
- Organize and lead internal reset syncs in A6 with CS and IM
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of social media or digital brand management
- Prior client-facing experience, agency, or freelance
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and analytics tools
- Comfortable using Trello, Google Drive, Slack, and performance dashboards
- Must be able to manage 6-15 clients at a time across structured deliverable cycles
- Detail-oriented and data-focused, must thrive in performance accountability
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with creators or managing community engagement
- Experience with KPI setting and analytics reporting
- Demonstrated ability to organize production timelines and hold creatives accountable
