Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to support the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technical writing, a collaborative mindset, and experience working with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality, compliant process documents, guides, forms, and templates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain QMS process documentation using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in Operations, Engineering, and Support to draft clear, accurate, and logically structured business process documents.
  • Review and revise existing documentation to ensure consistency, procedural accuracy, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Ensure all documents meet industry, customer, and internal policy requirements for compliance and quality.
  • Evaluate documentation requests and changes with input from SMEs, and determine the appropriate course of action (approve, revise, or reject).
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide status updates for each assigned task and proactively request additional assignments upon task completion.
  • Utilize workflow and collaboration tools within Microsoft SharePoint to manage documentation processes.
  • Support additional writing or documentation tasks as needed by the team lead or department leadership.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical/Professional Writing, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience,
  • OR
  • Associate’s degree with 6+ years of technical writing or process documentation experience.
Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience in technical or professional writing, particularly in creating and managing process documents.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint workflow functionalities is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
