Job Description:
The Marketing Specialist, Brand & Content develops engaging, multi?channel content to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support customer engagement. Using curiosity, active listening, and strong storytelling skills, this role turns subject?matter expertise into purposeful, high?impact content across platformsincluding blogs, social media, trade show communications, and digital channels. Working in a collaborative, matrixed environment across all BW Packaging product lines, the specialist ensures content aligns with brand voice, supports a smooth customer journey, and drives measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Create multimedia content for websites, blogs, social media, email, trade shows, and other channels.
- Conduct interviews with customers and subject?matter experts to uncover compelling stories.
- Coordinate seasonal trade show communications and booth content, navigating multi?stakeholder approvals.
- Manage social media scheduling, publishing, and engagement in alignment with marketing priorities.
- Collaborate with SEO and digital marketing partners to enhance content performance.
- Support planning, scripting, and creation of video and visual assets.
- Develop internal communications such as newsletters and spotlight stories.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills in alignment with AP Style and brand voice.
- Experience in social media management, digital content creation, and internal communications.
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques, trade show content development, and video content creation.
- Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities in response to strategic priorities and business needs.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.
- 13 years of content creation experience in a B2B or agency setting (internships considered). Agency experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Sitefinity, WordPress) and digital asset management tools (e.g., Brandfolder) preferred.
- Exposure to industrial or manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a corporate office position.
Position Type
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular work week will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
