Job DescriptionThe Associate Creative Director oversees the creative direction and execution across multiple brands, ensuring each team delivers exceptional work that aligns with strategic goals and brand guidelines. The ACD balances big-picture thinking with hands-on mentorship, fostering innovation while maintaining brand consistency. Success in this role means elevating the creative bar across all brands, nurturing talent, and keeping teams focused, inspired, and aligned.This position reports to the Executive Creative Director and is expected to work from the Adventure Sports headquarters in Irvine, CA. As the Associate Creative Director, you will have an opportunity to:Maintain a high-level understanding of all creative projects across brands, ensuring alignment with overarching goals and timelinesSupport and mentor Art Directors in developing creative concepts, executing photo and video productions, and presenting work to cross-functional teamsTake an active leadership role in "Gold Level" campaigns, driving concept development and overseeing execution from start to finishEnsure all creative output across brands adheres strictly to established brand guidelines, voice, and visual standardsCollaborate with the Executive Creative Director to set the bar for creative quality and consistency across all channelsProvide feedback and direction to creative teams to elevate design, storytelling, and brand alignmentLead seasonal research trips to help keep the creative team inspired, informed, and attuned to current and emerging trendsWork cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align creative efforts with strategic initiativesFoster a collaborative team culture that promotes innovation, curiosity, and accountabilityYou have: 7-10 years of experience in a creative leadership role within an agency or in-house brand environmentExpert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and MiroStrong time and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities across brandsExtensive experience in photo and video direction, from concept to executionAbility to produce high-quality, visually compelling work rapidly and accuratelyDeep understanding of brand systems and visual identity executionFamiliarity with the action sports, moto, or cycling industries is a strong plusPassion for healthy, active lifestyles and consumer trends within those communitiesRelentless drive to create, iterate, and elevate creative outputSolution-oriented, with a proactive and adaptable mindsetExcellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and departmentsConfident presenting ideas and leading creative discussionsOccasional travel required for seasonal research trips and on-site creative direction#LI-KK1Pay Range:Annual Salary: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.We offer a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including: medical and dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, gear discounts and the ability to add value to an exciting mission!Our Postings are not intended for distribution to or use in any jurisdiction, country or territory where such distribution or use would violate local law or would subject us to any regulations in another jurisdiction, country or territory.
