Lakeside Manufacturing Americas premier stainless steel utility cart manufacturer is looking for a Sales Design Manager to lead our cafeteria layout design and estimating team. Since 1946, weve been delivering innovative stainless-steel solutions for moving, storing, dispensing, and merchandising in the foodservice industry.

In this role, youll coach a team of 35 Sales Designers while collaborating closely with customers, engineering, and production to bring creative, customized cafeteria service line solutions to life.

What Youll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of Sales Designers in creating tailored cafeteria layouts
• Partner with clients to understand needs and propose innovative solutions
• Coordinate with production and engineering to ensure smooth project execution
• Improve design processes using tools like Excel, NetSuite, and CRM platforms
• Represent Lakeside at trade shows and customer site visits (? 25% travel)

What Were Looking For

• Bachelor's in design, engineering, or business (preferred)
• Experience leading creative and technical design teams
• Skilled in reading/interpreting specs, quoting, and solving design challenges
• Passion for customer collaboration and bringing visions to life
• Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through
