Job Summary

The Motion Designer will create video projects for AEG Presents festivals, tours, and venues. This role involves shaping the artistic vision for live entertainment marketing by conceptualizing and executing video edits, primarily for social media channels. The position requires collaboration with the creative and marketing teams to produce innovative, visually striking content aligned with strategic marketing goals.

Essential Functions

• Create engaging video content for tours, festivals, and venues, with a focus on social media.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas for campaigns and content strategies.
• Organize footage, select best takes, and color grade videos for future edits.
• Work with marketing to develop creative assets tailored to target audiences and platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new software, and techniques to enhance visual content.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video edits within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of motion graphic design/animation experience.
• Strong creative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Pre-visualization skills including storyboarding and style frames.
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in one or two areas of motion design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop), Dropbox, and Google Drive.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and maintain a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, receptive to feedback.
• Passion for visual storytelling; knowledge of the music industry and love of live music preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Payscale: $69,000 - $84,337

Bonus: Not eligible under current plan.
