Overview
The Event Planner works as part of a team on the design, development, and implementation of client events, including in-person and virtual workshops, conferences, and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Completes tasks related to meeting registration, site logistics, onsite support, and post-meeting follow-up. Interacts with project sponsors, focusing on customer service and understanding client expectations and needs.
- Supports the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and engagements with U.S. government officials, industry representatives, and international partners to support DASA DEC engagement priorities. Responsibilities include venue selection, securing transportation, supporting visitor access requests, site setup and teardown, coordinating audio-visual support, consolidating briefing materials, and ensuring timely reporting.
- Coordinates engagement venues, which may include international trade shows, Department of Defense facilities, defense contractor locations, and other commercial venues, both within the United States and abroad.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Requires Secret clearance
