Minimum of 3 years of professional event planning including direct experience with supplier negotiation and contracting (or hotel catering/convention services) experience with a financial industry background preferred. Knowledge and understanding of corporate event supplier negotiation and contracting Experience using CVENT Event Management Software for Venue Sourcing xperience working in highly regulated, fast-paced working environment requiring management of multiple programs at one time. Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills. Polished verbal/oral communication skills. Provides input to and has the ability to articulate business strategy and group goals. Detail oriented with excellent time management skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively both internally within the organization and externally with suppliers and partners Business/financial acumen and Experience in negotiations in a business environment.
