Job Summary:

Supermicro looking for a Sr. Graphic Designer well-rounded Sr. Graphic Designer with an eye for detail and comprehensive arrangement of information from presentations and page layout as well as intuitive consideration of graphical, data and technical copy? We are looking for talented creative designer with an eye for current trends in presentation design, and corporate clean page layout for print and digital hero image applications with a clean minimalist approach. In addition, we are looking for a team member with project management skills as it will be important to back-up another team members with that responsible. Must be focused, detail oriented, organized and a self-starter.

In executing presentation design responsibilities, your duties will include choosing type within the brand guidelines, graphics, and other visual elements for the slides in consideration of current trends. You will work with stakeholders, including VP of marketing, Director of Product Marketing, Director of Corporate Communications, Director of Events, Creative Director, Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to ensure the message is presented accurately and effectively.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of telling a compelling graphic story through graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production Ultimately, you will ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute high-level design projects based on messaging/creative input and house standards

Corporate identity, branding, based on executive/leadership inputs

Design and develop compelling visual content, ranging from concept through editing, layout and bring to completion through multiple rounds of approvals and stakeholders, including corporate executive leadership

Deliver on logos, layouts, diagrams, icons and illustrations for website home page banners, landing pages, banner ads, brochures, data sheets, white papers with high-definition visual designs in an Agile product development process.

Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, and After Effects, Animate, Audition and Figma a plus.

Create original graphics as needed to support design projects

Consult with other departments to develop graphic designs which support strategic objectives

Communicate the company's vision, strategic growth initiatives and other complex messages in a way that creates clarity, consistency and understanding among both internal and external stakeholders

Revise and/or update existing collateral, projects, and images
Format collaterals in templates
Photo optimization, compositing and clean-up
Develop and improve design processes and standards
Attend and participate in meetings as required
Maintain professional business relations with communication distributors and suppliers, and external contacts
Coordinate marketing activities with printers, service agencies, advertisers, and vendors to complete design projects on time
Work closely with Program Management, Product Marketing Managers and support for assigned events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field, advanced degree preferred
8+ years relevant experience preferred
Computer hardware related product experience is a plus
HTML/Web Design experience is a plus, but its not required
Expert knowledge of concept, layout, typography, color, and branding
Expert knowledge of production techniques including printing, paper and materials
A rich portfolio of work examples
Ability to create original designs based on messaging/creative input and brand standards
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
Must be a self-starter, identifying problems and initiating solutions independently
Ability to understand and work within our corporate brand guidelines
"Can do" attitude and strong work ethic for delivering optimum creative work
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams, with capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously and quickly
Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changing deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills, combined with an impeccable attention to detail
Stays current with design trends, production, and technology

Salary Range

$90,000 - $147,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
