We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team! The Marketing Specialist is a key position in our award-winning Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department. The role involves assisting with various internal and external communication efforts, including social media, copywriting, e-news, website management, apparel, graphics design, video production, and photography.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications on internal and external marketing efforts for VCS
• Manage content and strategy for social media platforms, including content creation, editing, and responding to inquiries
• Attend events to capture photos and videos, manage digital assets, and create videos
• Create content for internal and external e-news updates
• Assist with website updates, including building pages, editing content, and managing online forms and surveys
• Design and distribute marketing materials, both print and digital
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms and materials
• Manage gear and apparel, including vendor relationships and order fulfillment
• Build relationships within the school community to encourage content creation
• Support school classes and teachers in producing marketing content
• Adhere to school policies and perform other related duties

Qualifications

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to schools mission and faith statements
• Relevant education or experience in marketing or communications
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design, video editing, Microsoft Office, and WordPress (a plus)
• Ability to produce and edit photos and videos
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects efficiently
• Valid Arizona driver license and Level 1 IVP fingerprint clearance

Education & Experience

• Degree in Communications/Marketing or 2 years related experience

Physical & Other Requirements

• Prolonged computer use, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and physical mobility around campus
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed

Salary

$43,000 - $50,000
