By emphasizing One Park, One Mission, One Team, the Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of strategic marketing and community engagement efforts across the organization. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to manage marketing calendars, develop and edit content, support events, and help track campaign performance. The position requires a detail-oriented and proactive team member who brings creativity, organization, and a strong commitment to connecting with our audiences in ways that reflect Park's values and mission.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Fields and triages incoming marketing requests through established intake channels, including the marketing queue, volunteer, and financial education forms. Assists in managing timelines and coordinating reviews for both external member communications, such as Park Pulse, and internal communications, including PNN. Supports the distribution of press releases, maintaining brand guidelines, and providing general marketing assistance as needed. Serves as a backup for tasks related to member statement approvals and digital onboarding support.
- Manages pre- and post-event logistics for Park-hosted and sponsored events, ensuring all details are coordinated effectively. This includes working assigned events during the day, evening, or weekends to support setup, staffing, and breakdown. The role also oversees the volunteer calendar and related communications, maintains the volunteer hub, and manages engagement materials. Following community events, the coordinator distributes surveys and compiles feedback to help evaluate impact and improve future efforts.
- Assists with maintaining and updating website content, including blog posts, alerts, and rate changes. This role helps manage Parks social media presence by posting content, responding to messages and comments, and monitoring tags for engagement opportunities. Additional responsibilities include supporting content management submitted by staff and ensuring internal platforms - such as the marketing intranet and branch TV screens - are kept current and accurate.
- Responsible for tracking, organizing, and reordering marketing inventory, branded merchandise, and print materials as needed. Oversees the operations of the Park Community Store in collaboration with MPC and HR, managing merchandise, gift cards, and order fulfillment. Fulfills requests for physical marketing items such as signage and tents, ensuring items are returned in proper condition and ready for future use.
- Manages and submits monthly reports to track financial education efforts and community engagement activities. This role processes sponsorship and donation requests, ensuring they align with Parks mission and values while coordinating fulfillment. Maintains the accuracy and consistency of Parks Google profiles and responds to reviews in a timely and professional manner to support brand reputation and community trust.
- Assist with other marketing initiatives providing assistance and expertise as requested or assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience 1-3 years of experience in a Marketing role
Education A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.u202fProven ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff and leadership both inside and outside the organization. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an accessible manner.
Other Skills Must have strong organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
Must have a high level of creativity.
