About the Amplification Department The Amplification Department at Sensis focuses on all earned marketing communications disciplines such as media relations strategy, public relations, social media, engagement marketing and influencer marketing. Our team ensures that our clients' messages reach the right audiences through innovative and data-backed strategies. What We Are Looking For:Public Relations Account SupervisorWe are seeking a California-based Public Relations Account Supervisor with experience in Healthcare Communications for our growing Amplification Practice. Our Amplification team brings public relations, social media, influencer engagement and content development under one department to further amplify messages that are relevant in today's landscape. This role reports into the Managing Director of Amplification and will supervise 2-3 full-time and part-time people. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of three days on-site at our Glendale, CA office. What You'll Be Doing:Ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and maintain overall satisfaction and retention of clients on assigned programs/campaignsDisplay marketing curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency's work in new directionsAttend and facilitate team status meetings, client meetings and client calls; deliver formal and informal presentations to clients as well as internal team membersPrepare thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients reflective of the agency's quality standardsManage accounts including fiscal responsibilities (client budget, expense reporting and campaign profits and losses); execute billing practices, including detailed record keeping and follow-upDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key media and client stakeholders and quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of our clients' industries and business needsServe as the liaison between the agency and client to ensure that client goals, budget and target audience are reachedUnderstand the impact of social media and influencer engagement in conjunction with our PR efforts and incorporate these elements into comprehensive PR initiativesAct as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track, and solve client issues by monitoring and managing all aspects of daily client performanceManage a small team; create good team culture and mentor team members for successDevelop and implement strategic public relations programs for clients, primarily earned media and community engagementTake ownership of projects, develop and manage budgets, schedules and scope of resources through collaboration with other team membersAbility to multi-task in a very fast-paced agency environmentWhat You'll Bring Along:Prior experience working in highly collaborative, integrated teams at a mid-size or large PR agency Strong leadership skillsBilingual - a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power PointExcellent writing and communication skills to effectively convey PR ideas and strategies to clientsStrong interpersonal, customer service, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to balance revenue, client satisfaction and operational responsibilities while meeting deadlinesAbility to work both as part of a team and independentlyAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignmentsAbility to think strategicallyExcellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail6+ years of account management and supervisory experienceBachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related fieldPrior experience in government or healthcare communicationsWhat we offer:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Generous PTO - Potential growth opportunitiesWhere:Hybrid, in-office. Glendale, California Compensation:For California residents only - the salary range for this role is $50,000-$74,000.The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
