Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T (ABRET) or RDCS (ARDMS))

Requirements:
Education : Bachelor's degree preferred Certification : Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T.) by ABRET
or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS
or
equivalent certification
Preferred Experience : Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Program or AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program Minimum 2 years of clinical experience performing EEG testing Registered Cardiovascular Technologist certification or 1 year of related experience preferred
Other Requirements : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide age-appropriate patient care

Perform a variety of neurological and cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures as prescribed by the medical team Evaluate clinical data to ensure appropriateness and medical necessity of testing Assemble, check, and operate diagnostic equipment accurately and efficiently Document patient information and test results, communicating effectively with healthcare team members Assist with orientation and in-service education for trainees and hospital staff Promote and provide age-appropriate care to patients of all ages Maintain competency and participate in professional development to support high-quality care
