Description
Position Summary : We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Expeditor to join our Supply Chain team. This role serves as the key point of contact for Assembly, Supply Chain, and Project Management to resolve urgent part issues and ensure on-time delivery of materials to production. The Material Expeditor will plan, track, and expedite materials to keep production schedules on track while collaborating closely with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production teams.

The Material Expeditor will plan, track, and expedite materials to keep production schedules on track while collaborating closely with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve urgent material shortages and expedite parts in collaboration with Supply Chain and Purchasing. Plan and track material kit shortages to support production schedules as well as maintain a kitting schedule post kit turnover. Work with Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, and Production to ensure material readiness. Process and expedite PO's to cover Manufacturing variances, Inventory variances, engineering variances, Purchasing variances. Communicate shortages, delays, and recovery plans to stakeholders. Drive improvements in material flow and expediting processes, by maintaining a reason code log to isolate issue with material shortages. Qualifications
2+ years of experience in expediting, materials planning, or supply chain. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Benefits
