Provide Assistance at music events throughout the academic year. Include ticket sales, stage managing, ushering, and other event help as needed. Student Employees hired for this position will be trained and scheduled for the following: Ticket Sales:
Assist patrons in purchasing tickets and season memberships at Music Department events. Answer questions and assist patrons as needed. Cash handling is required. Stage Managing:
assist performers with equipment and staging needs before, during, and after the event. Usher : Assists in greeting patrons, handing out programs, opening/closing doors to the event venue, and other various tasks as needed. Qualifications
dependable ability to work with others and individually available in the evening and occasional weekends Previous cash handling/customer service experience is recommended, but not required Preference given to Music Majors or Music Minors or students with Music Ensemble experience. This position provides applicable skills and opportunities for hands-on experience in the music field.
Pay Rate: $11
Approximate Hours/Week: 2-5
